Reiki at Unity

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. (Rei means spirit or divine, and Ki means life force energy.) It’s administered by gentle touch and is based on the belief that a life force energy flows through us. When this energy is low, we’re more prone to stress or illness; when it’s high, we’re more likely to feel healthy and balanced.

Reiki energy has its own intelligence, flowing where it’s needed and creating the conditions for healing. It isn’t directed by the mind or limited by the practitioner and always works for the highest good.

A SPECIAL KIRTAN CONCERT EVENT!

Sunday, March 15, 12:00pm. Following the Sunday Service

All are welcome to join the Kirtan Meditation and Chanting. A Kirtan, from the Hindu tradition, is a Call-and-Response audience participation chanting/singing of Sanskrit names of the Divine for tuning in with Divine Consciousness; honoring God, the Divine as Ganesha, Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, Rama, and Krishna. If you've never experienced a Kirtan, it is a cellular changing experience.

LENTEN CLASS: RELEASE AND REIMAGINE

This special booklet and class will help you transform and welcome Easter by letting go to make room for spiritual growth. Many of us think of Lent as a season of sacrifice. It can be that … and so much more.

This Lent, we encourage you to give up the thoughts, grudges, beliefs, and habits that have been holding you back. Releasing them will clear the way for spiritual abundance and transformation.

During each class we will review Special Palm Sunday and Easter readings, relating stories from Jesus’ life to our own

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING & POTLUCK

SUNDAY, March 8th

Immediately Following the Sunday Service (Everyone Welcome!)

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, March 8, 2026, for our Annual Meeting and Potluck which will immediately follow the Sunday Service. The meeting will be held in the sanctuary. At this meeting you will learn the State of the Church, vote and confirm the candidate for the one vacant Board position, and confirm the Nominating Committee for next year.

We look forward to your participation at this important yearly meeting. All congregants are welcome to join.

MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE

Thursday, April 2, 12:00pm. This will be an abbreviated 30-40 minute service replacing the normal meditation service at noon.

We hope you will join us for our special Maundy service with, as always, a metaphysical twist. This day, we celebrate and explore the meanings of the Last Supper, and the spiritual meanings of the elements of communion. At this special service we will offer an optional hand washing, with wipes, as well as, physical elements of communion.

These special events are offered on a love offering basis.

Circle of Love Book Club

"The Jesus Trilogy" by Gina Lake

Thursdays, 1-3 pm

The Circle of Love book club is starting a new selection beginning March 5th. “The Jesus Trilogy” by Gina Lake, Thursdays 1-3pm. In words that are for today, Jesus speaks intimately and directly of the secrets to peace, love and happiness. He explains the deepest of all mysteries, who you are and how you can live as He taught long ago. Dictated to Gina Lake by Jesus. Some of the chapter titles are: The Gift of Free Will…. Living The Truth…. The Past, The Future and Now… Surrendering to Love in Relationships The book is available on Amazon and Lorri highly recommends it even if coming to class isn’t possible. A Course in Miracles

We have a great group of both long-time and beginning "A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) students dedicated to living the ACIM message of forgiveness, release of fear, and living from love.
