In Unity we use affirmative prayer, claiming the truth, perfection, and wholeness in a situation regardless of appearances. It is a practice. Unity co-founder Myrtle Fillmore tells us that we are missing the mark when we send our prayers “out there” as if God were just waiting to receive them. Instead, she told us to direct them to our own mind, heart, and affairs. Prayer is to change us so that our hearts and minds can receive God’s omnipresent good and manifest in our lives. Please join us this week in the UCIR sanctuary, on our Facebook live stream, or on YouTube. We look forward to having you join us.
