July 5, 2020 With Liberty and Justice for All

Throughout history, societies have treated their citizens unequally. In Jerusalem and Galilee where Jesus our Way Shower lived and taught, religious and secular freedoms were not available to everyone. He modeled through his teachings and actions his belief in liberty and justice for all. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and cared for the poor and those marginalized by society. No one was exempt. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus is reported as saying, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This Fourth of July Sunday, we will look at how to follow Jesus' example in facing the tumultuous time we live in. Please join us at UCIR or on YouTube. We look forward to having you with us.
