In his mid-nineties, Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore said, “I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm and spring forth with a mighty faith to do the things that ought to be done by me.” That powerful statement is one we can all take to heart knowing that we have been endowed with all the zeal and enthusiasm we ever need to do whatever we want or need to do. When our enthusiasm flags, it may be a message that we need to pay attention to self-care and rest. It may mean that we don’t have passion for the project we’ve undertaken and need to reevaluate whether we’re putting our energy in the right place. Or it may mean that we’ve forgotten our purpose—to bring God into all that we do. Join us this week at UCIR or on YouTube to learn how to reconnect with our Power of Zeal so that, like Charles Fillmore, we can sizzle with enthusiasm.
