Rolling Away the Stones

Rolling Away the Stones
with Carolyn Warnemuende
Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018

In the Easter story of Jesus’ resurrection, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome went to the tomb to anoint his body with spices, as was the tradition. The story tells us that when they arrived, the stone sealing the tomb had been rolled away and the tomb was empty. Had the tomb not been empty, the story could not continue with the resurrection. What stones do we need to roll away in our lives so that we may have new life? That we may resurrect, be born anew? Join us this Easter Sunday and experience the freedom of rolling away your personal stones. Celebrate in our flower ceremony claiming the beauty of life. We look forward to seeing you.
